Frank Cullotta portrayed himself in the 1995 movie casino recreating a murder he committed in 1979 in Las Vegas. Cullotta was hired by Martin Scorsese and Nicholas Pileggi for the movie Casino. He was on set when this filming was taking place and told Martin that the actor was doing the murder incorrectly. When Martin asked "Why"? Frank replied "I didn't kill Jerry Lisner this way, I did it differently than the actor". Martin Scorsese fired the actor and put Cullotta in the movie.
