Árboles frutales, huertos, olivos y hasta una construcción específicamente dedicada a las abejas en la que se podía estudiar el comportamiento de los insectos y de la que se obtenía abundante miel. Numerosos estanques y también una ría navegable con su embarcadero discurren entre un fortín con cañones para el juego de los niños, el casino de baile, la casa de la vieja, una ermita con su correspondiente ermitaño, que allí falleció y fue enterrado o el primer puente de hierro que se construyó en España.
