Con este caso y los de otros equipos de distintas divisiones, de los que se sospechan prácticas similares, queda en evidencia que el mundo de las apuestas está plácidamente arraigado en nuestro futbol, como campo propicio para la venta de partidos, o de goles, o de tarjetas o de saques de banda. Y segundo, que una de esas casas de apuestas es dueña de dos equipos de Primera División –los descendentes Xolos de Tijuana y los desplumados Gallos de Querétaro–, como ominoso añadido de la nociva multipropiedad, también solapada en nuestro maltratado balompié mexicano.
