El evento fue encabezado por la Presidenta del DIF, Marilú García de Colosio y por José Francisco Salas Tirado, Director General de la Institución, quienes expresaron su gratitud por la labor realizada, considerándola como invaluable para el bienestar de los regiomontanos. Como agradecimiento a su aportación, cerca de 30 homenajeados recibieron diplomas en reconocimiento a su tiempo en el servicio público, que oscila entre los 16 y los 31 años. En compañía de familiares, los asistentes disfrutaron de un desayuno en el Casino Monterrey y convivieron con sus compañeros en celebración del final de su etapa laboral.
